A Centralia, Illinois woman has been sentenced to prison for pleading guilty to unlawful delivery of methamphetamine.
Reports from Marion County say 37 year old Samantha Horton received a six year prison sentence, and will have to complete a year of mandatory supervised release once she’s out of prison. She was given credit for 42 days already served in the Marion County Jail. She admitted to delivering five to 15 grams of a substance containing meth to a Southeastern Illinois Drug Task Force confidential source in September of 2025. As part of the guilty plea, three other counts of making deliveries to a confidential source of the task force on additional days were dismissed.
