27TH ANNUAL BLUEGRASS AND BARBECUE FESTIVAL SET FOR SATURDAY IN HARRISBURG

The 27th Annual Bluegrass and Barbecue Festival will take place Saturday, October 10th at the Saline County Museum in Harrisburg, featuring live bluegrass music, barbecue and family-friendly entertainment.

The festival will run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., with four musical performances scheduled throughout the day.

White Oak Bluegrass will kick off the entertainment from 10 until 11:30 a.m., followed by Robert Bowlin and Wil Maring from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friends of Bluegrass will perform from 1 until 2:30 p.m., with Tammy Renee closing out the afternoon from 2:30 until 4 p.m.

Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. A large tent will be provided for seating and shelter.

Organizers are also encouraging visitors to bring canned goods for local food pantries. Donations to support the museum will also be appreciated.

The festival will be held at the Saline County Museum, located at 1600 South Feazel Street in Harrisburg.
