The Friends of the Fairfield Public Library will hold their annual fall book and bake sale on Saturday, October 17th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The sale will take place at the Fairfield Public Library, located at 300 Southeast Second Street. Organizers say the library has received a number of newly donated books that will be available to patrons for the first time during the sale. Residents wishing to donate baked goods may drop them off at the library on Friday, October 16, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., or Saturday morning between 9 and 9:45. Book donations are also being accepted during regular library hours.
