The Fairfield City Council will meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 109 NE 2nd Street.
Among the items on the agenda is a Business District presentation from the Fairfield Elks Club.
The council will also consider Business District agreements with Trackside Auto Repair and Carnaby Square, along with an Albion Radio Communications maintenance agreement.
Other business includes an ordinance approving renewal of the city’s risk management insurance, seeking bids for water filter chemicals and reviewing a Motor Fuel Tax compliance report.
Council members are also scheduled to discuss and possibly act on Fairfield’s 2027 levy request.
The agenda also includes a proposal from the Southern Illinois Critter Fixers TNVR Program and consideration of purchasing a truck for the Fairfield Fire Department.
The council will also approve the September 8th meeting minutes and bills, hear public comments and receive the city’s financial report before a possible executive session.
