The Clay County Health Department has announced its schedule of drive-thru flu vaccination clinics for this fall.
No appointment is required, and participants should follow signs directing them to the carport. Drive-thru clinics will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 21st and 28th.
The Health Department will also offer flu shots at several locations around Clay County in October, including the Xenia Community Center, Ingraham Bank, Louisville Farm Bureau and Clay City Bank.
Those receiving a vaccine should bring their Medicare Part B, HMO, Medicaid or other insurance card. A small administration fee may apply for those who are uninsured, underinsured or whose insurance is out of network.
Both trivalent flu vaccine and higher-dose influenza vaccines will be available.
