82 year old Wayne City resident, LaDonna J. Peck passed away at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, Indiana on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
LaDonna was born on June 27, 1944 to Conard and Norma (King) Edmison. Donna married Louis C. “Louie” Peck on March 28, 1963 at the Keenes Baptist Church. They celebrated 62 years of marriage before his passing on March 28, 2025.
Ladonna was the book keeper and office manager for the family business.
She worked beside her husband assisting him with Peck’s Racing Stables. LaDonna was a very talented pianist. She always enjoyed taking her turn at the Keenes Baptist Church. She loved music and was very musically talented. For years she was very active in working with the Christmas programs and musicals at the church.
LaDonna is survived by 2 children; Rodney (Terri) of Muscatine, IA. Pamela (Roger) Neff of Spencer, OK. 1 brother; Noel (Cheryl) Edmison of Wayne City, IL. 2 sisters; Carolyn Thomason & Dixie Hurley both of Wayne City, IL. 1 grandson; Eric (Paige Jansen) Manzano.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and infant sister Judy.
Funeral services for Ladonna J. Peck will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2026 at Keenes Baptist Church in Keenes, IL with burial in Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City, IL. Visitation will be Thursday evening, October 22, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 P.M. at the Keenes Baptist Church.
Memorials in her honor may be made to the Keenes Baptist Church.
