John Henry Adams, 61, of Mill Shoals, died peacefully at his home on Friday, October 16, 2026.
John has always been known for his love of family and friends. Over the years, the Adams brothers’ excellent craftmanship has built some of the finest homes in the Wayne County area.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, November 1, at 4 to 6 p.m. at the floral hall in Fairfield.
Family and friends are invited and encouraged to attend and share a memory or story of John and visit with family. Finger food will be provided. Casual dress is requested.
John was born on August 12, 1965, the son of Stanley Sr. and Jennie Adams.
Survivors include his son, John Robert Adams; grandchildren, Alyza Sapphire Adams, Koa Michael Adams, Chloe Bare, Anthony Nieves, Evan Bare, and Michael’s daughter, Parker; siblings, Stanley Adams Jr., Edie Adams, Beatrice Adams, William Adams, Tillman Adams, and George Adams; several nieces and nephews; a lifelong friend, Liz Bare, and a special friend, Jevon Sork.
He was preceded by his parents, Stanley Sr. and Jennie Adams, and a son, Mike Adams.
Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield handled cremation.
