The Clay County Health Department will host another drive-thru flu shot clinic.
No appointment is required, and participants should follow signs directing them to the carport. The drive-thru clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Wednesday.
The Health Department will also offer flu shots at several locations around Clay County in October, including the Xenia (PRONOUNCED ZEEN-YA) Community Center, Ingraham Bank, Louisville Farm Bureau and Clay City Bank.
Those receiving a vaccine should bring their Medicare Part B, HMO, Medicaid or other insurance card. A small administration fee may apply for those who are uninsured, underinsured or whose insurance is out of network.
Both trivalent flu vaccine and higher-dose influenza vaccines will be available.
