The Wayne City FFA Chapter will host a special Veterans Fish Fry on Tuesday, November 10th to honor area veterans while raising money for organizations that support those who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

The event will take place from 4:30 until 7 p.m. at the Wayne City High School Agriculture Building.

Meals will be available for $12 each, with both dine-in and carryout options offered. All veterans will receive a free meal as a thank-you for their service and sacrifice.

Proceeds from the fish fry will benefit Veterans Honor Flight of Southern Illinois and the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Illinois Chapter 24-5.

Veterans Honor Flight of Southern Illinois provides opportunities for veterans to visit memorials in Washington, D.C., honoring their military service, while the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association supports veterans and veteran-related causes.

The Wayne City FFA Chapter invites area residents to come out, enjoy a meal, show their appreciation for local veterans, and support two organizations dedicated to serving those who have served our country.

The Veterans Fish Fry will be held Tuesday, November 10th from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Wayne City High School Agriculture Building.
