Aurora Jade Wood Barrow, 1 month & 26 days old, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia, IL. Aurora was born on September 1, 2026 in Mt. Vernon, IL to Maci Wood and Jory Barrow.
Aurora brought joy to the lives of many during her time here and will always be loved and remembered. She was affectionately given the nickname “Suga Cheeks” by her family.
Aurora is survived by her parents Maci Wood and Jory Barrow, her grandmother Tami Biagi, her grandmother FayAnne Barrow, her grandfather Raymond Meyers, her grandfather Marceno Rush, her great-grandparents Traci & Gilbert Wood, her great-grandfather Raymond (Claudette) Meyers Sr., her great-grandmother Sue Lutz, her great-grandmother Debbie Barrow, 2 aunts: Brylee Rusler, and Megan Conder, and 4 uncles: Macin Cole Wood, Gibson Jay Schofield, Chance Barrow, and Garret Barrow.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Chelsea Noel Wood, her great-grandfather James “Buddy” Barrow, and her aunt Jade Biagi.
A private graveside service for Aurora Jade Wood Barrow will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City, IL with Pastor Troy Shook officiating.
