Motorists in downtown Fairfield are being reminded of parking restrictions and traffic changes ahead of the annual Boo on Main Trunk or Treat event scheduled for tomorrow (Friday).
According to the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Fairfield, parking will be prohibited along the event route from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. Friday to allow for event setup and activities.
All vehicles must be removed from the designated area by 3 p.m. Organizers warn that vehicles remaining after that time will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Setup for Boo on Main will begin at 3 p.m., with street closures and traffic restrictions in place to accommodate the event.
Officials say the same traffic route pattern used during Fairfield’s Fall Fun Fest will be followed for Boo on Main.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes, and pay attention to posted barricades and traffic restrictions in the downtown area.
The annual Boo on Main celebration brings families and children together for Halloween festivities and trunk-or-treat activities in downtown Fairfield.
