Olive Sue “Susie” Withrow, 91, formerly, of Geff, IL. passed away October 5, 2026, at Cisne Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
Sue was born on March 22, 1935, to Elmo and Verl (Bullard) Mugrage at their home in Rinard, IL. She married Jerry Withrow on November 1, 1953 in Fairfield, IL. He preceded her in death on February 1, 2014.
Sue was a Homemaker. She had previously worked at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in the surgery department; she then went to work at Fairfield Garment Factory until it closed. She attended and was a member of the Geff Christian Church. She was also a member of the Geff Quilters and Geff Rurtains.
In her spare time, she enjoyed painting, quilting, doing stained glass, gardening, taking care of her flowers, and doing puzzles. She enjoyed cooking and getting all the family together for holiday dinners and enjoying visiting with everyone. She cherished time spent with family.
Sue is survived by three sons, Mark Allen (Tena) Withrow, Brett Lee (Kris) Withrow and Bryan Dee (Tracey) Withrow; eight grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; two sisters Pat Bradham and Donna (Tip) Butler; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elmo and Verl Mugrage, husband Jerry, one grandchild, Bryan Lee Withrow, her brother Sonny and sister-in-law Alkie Mugrage, and a brother-in-law Kenny Bradham.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Cisne Cemetery. Friends and family are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
