The Edwards County Farm Bureau is offering a unique holiday gift idea for younger children while supporting agricultural education in the county. Agricultural book gift boxes are now available for preorder, featuring a variety of educational activities, treats, and farm-themed items designed for children through third grade.
Each gift box includes the children’s book Potatoes by Pirate Pearl, a poinsettia craft activity, three popcorn popping cobs, hot cocoa packets, a farm animal plush toy, a bendable farm animal toy, and educational resources from the Ag in the Classroom program.
The boxes are available for $40 each, with $10 from every purchase going directly to support the Edwards County Ag in the Classroom program. The program helps introduce young students to agriculture and its importance in everyday life through educational materials and hands-on learning experiences.
Orders must be placed and paid for by Tuesday, November 24th. Gift boxes will be available for pickup after December 8 at the Edwards County Farm Bureau office.
Anyone interested in purchasing a box can contact the Edwards County Farm Bureau at 618-445-2113 or stop by the office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Farm Bureau officials encourage residents to consider the gift boxes as an educational holiday present while helping support agricultural learning opportunities for Edwards County children.
