Elenora F. Block, 86, of Cisne, IL passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Cisne Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
Elenora was born November 25, 1939, to Robert and Delberta (Platt) Haynes in Flora, IL. She married Harold E. Block on March 22, 1967, in Flora, IL. He preceded her in death on June 20, 2015.
Elenora was a Homemaker and stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed cooking. baking and was an excellent pie maker. She had also worked the local restaurants in the community for several years. She also enjoyed quilting and playing bingo. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was a highly active and a lifetime member of the following organizations Cisne American Legion Auxiliary, Flora VFW Auxiliary and Flora American Legion Auxiliary and was a member of the Flora American Legion and VFW. Elenora is survived by her two sons, Jamie (Becky) Block and Charles (Connie) Block, both of Cisne, IL; three grandchildren Nathan, Kristen, and Callie, and one great grandchild Peyton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her sister Loretta Welty.
Visitation: Will be held Monday, November 9, 2026 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home, Cisne, IL. Funeral Services: Will be held at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial: Will follow in Cisne Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Elenora many be given to the family to help with final expense’s and will be accepted at the funeral home. Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home, Cisne is assisting the family with arrangements.
