The Illinois Department of Agriculture is offering holiday shoppers an opportunity to save on admission and carnival rides for the 2027 Illinois State Fair while also supporting Illinois businesses through special holiday gift boxes.
Beginning Monday, November 9th, the Illinois State Fair Holiday Sale will feature the lowest Mega and Jumbo Pass prices of the season, with discounts available through December 31 at 11:59 p.m.
The holiday sale includes several options for fairgoers planning ahead for next summer.
A Mega Pass will cost $70, providing unlimited carnival rides throughout the fair. A Jumbo Pass will cost $80 and includes all Mega Pass benefits, plus unlimited rides on the Giant Slide.
An 11-day adult admission bundle will be available for $45, while the 11-day senior admission bundle will cost $30.
The popular Blue Ribbon Cookbook will also be offered for $20 when purchased in person or $25 when shipped.
For the first time, customers purchasing Mega or Jumbo Passes during the holiday sale can upload their photographs during checkout and have their completed passes mailed directly to their homes in January.
Those taking advantage of the new option can avoid the traditional in-person redemption process, provided their photographs meet the fair’s guidelines.
Customers who prefer not to upload a photograph can still purchase discounted passes and redeem them in person beginning in June.
In addition to fair passes, the Department of Agriculture is offering two holiday gift boxes featuring products made by Illinois businesses.
The Illinois Product Favorites Box will sell for $60, while the Illinois Product Holiday Box will be available for $40.
Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Jerry Costello II says the holiday promotions provide an opportunity for residents to plan ahead for next summer’s fair while supporting businesses throughout the state.
All customers purchasing fair passes will receive an email confirmation, regardless of whether they choose home delivery or in-person redemption.
The holiday pricing on Mega and Jumbo Passes will remain available through the end of December.
