WABASH GENERAL HOSPITAL’S ALBION CLINIC EXPANSION UPDATE

By Mark Wells Oct 8, 2024 | 11:58 AM

Wabash General Hospital’s Albion Clinic is set to complete a significant expansion that will more than triple its original size. Opened in 2018, the clinic quickly outgrew its initial 2,888 square feet due to strong community support.

The new addition will add 6,486 square feet, featuring a new patient entrance, reception area, waiting room, ten exam rooms, one procedure room, team spaces, offices, a break room, conference areas, and additional ancillary spaces. Renovations will also enhance the current lab and IT facilities, create a team area to support the existing five exam rooms, and provide extra storage.

Exterior improvements include the relocation of utilities, grading, paving, re-roofing the existing building, facade enhancements, and a new drop-off canopy. The project is being managed by Keiffer Brothers Construction Company of Mount Carmel, with design work completed by Architecture & Design Group, also based in Mount Carmel. Construction began last March.
