TWO INJURED IN TRAFFIC ACCIDENT IN MARION COUNTY SUNDAY

Illinois State Police Troop 9 responded to two vehicle accident with injuries Sunday afternoon on U.S 50 near Omega Road in Marion County.  State Police say just a little after 12 noon, a truck-tractor semi-trailer combination and a Dodge truck were involved in the crash.  Two helicopters where requested at the scene and both victims were flown to regional hospitals with injuries.  No names have been released as Illinois State Police are continuing their investigation into the accident.
