ELECTION DAY, POLLS OPEN UNTIL 7PM TONIGHT

Today is Election Day and despite there are no races of interest in the county, Wayne County Clerk, Liz Ann Woodrow says that her office has been very busy with early voting as voting is heavy and this includes Vote by Mail Ballots.   Besides the Presidential, Congressional, State Senator and State Representative to be elected, those running unopposed in the County include; Circuit Clerk, Georgiana Fletcher, Coroner, Carrie Jo Dagg and Wayne County State’s Attorney, Kevin Kakac.  As for the Wayne County Board; District 1, Quinton Tyler –  District 2, Greg Keyser –  District 3, Brandon Bittles – District 4, Steve Manring – there is no candidate in District 5, District 6, Vern Hutson Sr. and District 7, Steve Troyer – are all on the ballot.   The polls are open until 7pm.
