NORTH WAYNE SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION MET WEDNESDAY

The North Wayne School District Board Of Education met for their monthly meeting Wednesday.  Superintendent, Adam Ellis says the board approved numerous items on the consent agenda;  Approved the minutes of the October 16th regular meeting,  personal leave days and dock days requests, a donation to the CHS FFA in the amount of $1000 from Citizens National Bank, a donation to the CHS FFA in the amount of $500 from Fairfield National Bank, a donation to the CHS FFA in the amount of $690 from the Alumni Association and approved CHS FFA to attend the Build Conference at Bloomington/Normal on November 25th and 26th.

 

The board approved the payment of the bills and was informed that each school received a “commendable” summative designation from ISBE. The board congratulated Cisne Middle Schoolon their successful baseball season, placing 2nd in the Class S Baseball Tournament. The board voted to table a decision on Press Plus 116 & 117 until the next board meeting. The board approved the tax levy at 4.95% and hired Chynna Keyser as a P.E. Paraprofessional at Johnsonville Elementary.
