The Clay County Health Department is offering local residents an opportunity to receive essential dental care during a one-day clinic. The event, scheduled for Monday, December 9th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, will provide dental cleanings, fluoride treatments, and Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) applications for adults who meet eligibility requirements.  The clinic is aimed at supporting adults in Clay County who may face barriers to accessing dental care. “This is a chance for residents to prioritize their oral health, especially those who haven’t been able to visit a dentist in the past year,” said a Clay County Health Department representative.

To qualify for the free services, individuals must:

Reside in Clay County or receive WIC services through the health department.

Be 20 years or older.

Have Medicaid or no dental insurance.

Meet income eligibility guidelines.

Not have had a dental visit in the last year.

Appointments are required for the clinic. Interested individuals should call 618-662-4406 and ask for April to schedule a time. Paperwork must be completed in advance, either by phone or in person, prior to the appointment.
