Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s Laboratory Department is offering an opportunity for affordable health screenings with its Reduced Rate Lab Testing program, set to run from January 11 through January 24. This initiative provides convenient access to vital health tests at five locations across the region.
Residents can choose from the following locations for their lab work: Fairfield Memorial Hospital Laboratory, Edwards County Health Office, Horizon Healthcare Fairfield Medical Clinic, Horizon Healthcare Carmi Medical Clinic, and Horizon Healthcare Cisne Medical Clinic.
The program features a variety of essential tests at discounted prices. These include the Hemoglobin A1c test for monitoring diabetes, the Lipid Panel to check cholesterol levels, and the PSA test for prostate health, each priced at $20. More comprehensive options, such as the Thyroid Function Panel or the General Health Profile—which includes a complete blood count, lipid screening, and a 12-test chemistry profile—are available for $40. A Vitamin D test is also offered at the same price.
Participants are required to fast, refraining from food and drink after midnight on the day of their appointment. Payment is due at the time of service, and test results will be mailed directly to the patient’s home for added convenience.
To schedule an appointment at Fairfield Memorial Hospital or the Edwards County Health Office, patients should call 618-847-0400. Appointments at Horizon Healthcare locations can be made by calling 618-842-4617.
This Reduced Rate Lab Testing event provides an affordable way to stay on top of your health while benefiting from convenient locations and professional care.
