WAYNE CITY MATTERS CANCEL CHRISTMAS PARADE SATURDAY DUE TO THE THREAT OF RAIN, ACTIVITIES WILL STILL BE HELD AT FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Officials with Wayne City Matters have decided to cancel Saturday night’s Christmas Parade due to the threat of rain in the Saturday forecast,  but will still have activities at the First Christian Church in Wayne City from 5pm to 7pm.  Santa Claus will be at the church for photo opportunities and the Yellow Rose Restaurant will have sandwiches for sale.  There will be free food for the kids, treat bags, books and FCCLA will have a cookie decorating area.  Free hot chocolate & cookies for everyone in attendance provided by Church Of The Harvest of Wayne City.  The Grinch will be in attendance along with a few special guests.  All adults will be given tickets for a drawing and a chance to win a prize.  You do NOT need to be present to win.  The event again runs from 5pm to 7pm at First Christian Church in Wayne City.
