The City of Fairfield has scheduled another Large Item Pickup Day. Due to the recent holidays, the next large item pickup will be Friday, January 10th. Allowed Items include:
1 large piece of furniture. Some examples are a regular couch, a loveseat, a recliner, a mattress/box spring, a dining room table, a dresser or an entertainment center.
Smaller furniture items will need to be no larger than a 4’x4′ pile. Some examples are kitchen chairs, office chair, lamp or end tables.
Two types of major appliances are accepted: a dishwasher or a hot water heater.
All boxes need to be broken down and put in your tote provided for weekly pickup. This is not included in Large Item Pickup Day. Please have items set out by Thursday night. For any questions, Call Fairfield City Hall at 618-842-2294 or Sunrise Sanitation at 618-740-1701.
