A Mt. Vernon, Illinois man faces several charges after deputies responded to a call last week for an order of protection violation in Jefferson County.
Reports say 48 year old Michael Glenn was taken into custody after police responded to a call for the alleged violation of an active order of protection in the 2100 block of North Tolle Lane in Texico, Illinois Saturday night. Deputies spoke with residents at the scene and with Glenn, and eventually took Glenn into custody. The report said deputies also found evidence of more criminal activity. Glenn was eventually taken to the Jefferson County Jail.
He faces of possession of a firearm by a felon, armed violence and possession of under 5 grams of meth, along with the violation of the order of protection.
