WAYNE COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT ACTIVITY

Wayne County Sheriff’s Department ticketed 21-year-old Jagger Owen of Geff Friday following a traffic stop on West Main at NW 6th St. in Fairfield for Driving on a Revoked License.  Owen was released and given a Notice to Appear in Wayne County Circuit Court.

 

31-year-old Jesus Guzman of Fairfield was stopped by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department Friday at SW 6th and King St for Driving Without A License.  Guzman was given a Notice to Appear in Wayne County Circuit Court.

 

Abby Koontz, a 37-year-old Fairfield resident was cited by Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies Friday following a traffic stop at Frontier Dr and Mt. Vernon Rd for Operating a Motor Vehicle With Suspended Registration.  Koontz was given a Notice to Appear.

 

Mt. Vernon resident, 53-year-old William Pierce was cited by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department Saturday after being stopped on I-64 Westbound at Milepost 98.  Pierce was Driving on a Suspended License and was given a Notice to Appear in Wayne County Circuit Court.

 

45-year-old Jeffrey Murphy of Fairfield was also stopped by Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies Saturday on the Bt. Prairie Blacktop for Operating a Motor Vehicle With Suspended Registration.  Murphy was issued a citation and given a Notice to Appear.

 

 

Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 51-year-old Timothy Fetherling of Fairfield early Sunday morning on a charge of DUI.  Fetherling also received a citation for Driving The Wrong Way on a One-Way Road.  Fetherling was transported and booked at the Wayne County Jail.

 

Wayne County Sheriff’s Department handled a two-vehicle property damage only accident Saturday night just after 11:30 in the 500 block of South Main St. in Wayne City.  Deputies say a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Andrew Lasater of McLeansboro struck a vehicle in the rear, parked belonging to 21-year-old Avery Vladimir of Mt. Vernon.  Lasater told deputies he was distracted by the radio and food. Lasater received a citation for Electronic Communication Device violation.  The Vladimir vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
