The United States Postal Service will suspend regular mail delivery, retail services and office activity today (Thursday) in honor of former President Jimmy Carter, who died December 29th at age 100 as his funeral is today in Washington D.C. There will be limited package delivery service on today to ensure the organization does not experience any negative impacts to its package delivery operations. Regular mail delivery will resume tomorrow.
