The Marion County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Marion County Coroner’s Office and the Child Death Task Force are investigating the death of a one-year-old Odin, Illinois girl who was found not breathing Thursday night.
Reports say Odin Fire EMS and United Medical Response initially were called to the girl’s home late Thursday night after a 911 call was received stating the girl was not breathing. She was later taken to Salem Township Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
An autopsy and investigation is ongoing, and no other details were immediately released.
