TESLA RECALLS OVER 230,000 VEHICLES DUE TO REARVIEW CAMERA ISSUES

By Mark Wells Jan 14, 2025 | 11:52 AM

Tesla is voluntarily recalling more than 230,000 vehicles in the U.S. because of malfunctions with rearview cameras. The affected models include the 2024-2025 Model 3 and Model S sedans, as well as the 2023-2025 Model X and Model Y SUVs.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced the recall, citing a shortage of computer circuit boards as the reason behind the cameras failing to display images. Fortunately, Tesla owners can easily fix this issue by installing a free over-the-air software update.
