A former Mt. Vernon resident was killed Thursday morning in a traffic accident in Marion. Police say 23-year-old Brennan Marlow of Marion was in a two-vehicle accident just shortly after 7 o’clock near the intersection of West Main Street and Boswell Road. The driver of the second vehicle involved was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries and has since been released. The Marion Police Department and the Illinois State Police Traffic Crash Reconstruction Unit are continuing their investigation at this time. No further details are available. Funeral arrangements for Brennan Marlow are pending.
