FAIRFIELD WOMAN SENTENCED TO 30 DAYS IN MARION COUNTY JAIL

By Mark Wells Jan 23, 2025 | 11:57 AM

Carrie Cullins, a 40-year-old resident of Fairfield, received a 30-day sentence in the Marion County Jail, with the possibility of reducing her time for good behavior. This sentence was imposed after she failed to complete a Pretrial Sentence Investigation (PSI) with Marion County Probation prior to her scheduled sentencing on a burglary charge.

In addition to her jail time, Cullins has been ordered to finish the PSI report before her rescheduled sentencing hearing on March 11th.

Cullins had previously pleaded guilty to her involvement in a burglary that took place in October 2023 at a building located in the 7300 block of the Route 161 Extension in rural Iuka.

Her co-defendant, 46-year-old Daniel Brockett from Fairfield, was sentenced earlier to six years in prison for the same burglary charge. His sentence will run concurrently with prison terms he received in Wayne and Hamilton Counties due to probation violations.
