MCLEANSBORO MAN FACES CHARGES IN TWO RECENT THEFT INCIDENTS

A man from McLeansboro has been arrested and charged with two counts of theft connected to incidents at local businesses.

Franklin County Sheriff Kyle Bacon reported that the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office played a key role in locating 42-year-old Ryan P. Nalley. Following his apprehension, Nalley was taken to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office for questioning, which resulted in the charges against him and his subsequent detention in the Franklin County Jail.

The investigation was initiated after a theft was reported at Payne’s Service Station in Thompsonville on January 17th. During the investigation, authorities identified a suspect who was later found to be involved in an earlier theft at Ace Hardware in Benton on January 15th.
