FAIRFIELD COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL NAMES NEW TRANSPORTATION DIRECTOR

The Fairfield Community High School Board of Education met for a special meeting last (Monday) night and took action on a couple of items.  Chris Miller has been hired as the new Transportation Director for the 2025-2026 school year.  Miller, who recently retired from the Illinois State Police after 27 and ½ years in the Radio Network Services Bureau and most recently held the position as Bureau Chief,  will replace Dennis Gifford who will be retiring at the end of this school year.   Also, the Board approved the purchase of property at 303 West King St.
