Wayne-White Electric Cooperative was recognized for its outstanding safety performance over the past year, receiving a 2024 award for Best Loss Time Rate at the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperative’s Safety and Energy Conference held on January 29th & 30th in Springfield.
The award is given to the cooperatives with the lowest number of lost work time due to workplace injuries, relative to the number of hours worked. It reflects the cooperative’s effectiveness in preventing serious incidents that could keep employees off the job.
