FOUR AREA RESIDENTS ARRESTED BY LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT ON SEPARATE INCIDENTS

Fairfield resident, 38-year-old Shania J. Buchanan of Fairfield was arrested Sunday, February 2nd following an investigation into a stolen vehicle from Wal-Mart. The vehicle had been recovered, but was discovered to have exterior and interior damage. Buchanan was identified as the suspect and was interviewed and subsequently arrested for theft over $500 and Criminal Damage to Property. Buchanan was lodged in the Wayne County Jail.

 

This past Sunday at approximately 10:15pm, Fairfield Police conducted a traffic stop on SW 10th Street for a taillight and registration light violation. During the stop, the driver, Ashley M. Bebout, 34, of Crossville was  discovered to have a suspended driver’s license. Bebout was cited for no valid registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving on a suspended license. Bebout was transported to the Wayne County Jail for processing and was released with a notice to appear.

 

Monday night at  approximately 7 O’clock, Fairfield Police arrested 18-year-old Dominique A. Neafus of Fairfield for retail theft. Neafus is accused of entering Kincaid Hardware on February 3rd concealing a cowboy hat and exit the store without paying for the item. Neafus was transported to the Wayne County Jail for processing and was released with a notice to appear.

 

Wayne County Sheriff’s Department arrested 40-year-old Dellas Alexander Davis of Olney Monday afternoon on a Wayne County Warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, Change of Address.  Davis was transported and lodged in the Wayne County Jail pending a court appearance.
