Tesla is recalling over 375,000 vehicles in the US to address a power steering issue.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the recall affects Model 3 and Model Y vehicles with operating software prior to 2023. The agency noted that this issue could lead to a loss of power steering when the vehicle comes to a stop and then accelerates again.
Tesla has issued an automatic software update at no cost to owners. Additionally, notifications will be sent by mail to those affected by the recall.
