The Regional Office of Education #20 presents “Prevention Starts With All” a community presentation for adults ONLY with guest speaker and former NBA player, Chris Herren on tomorrow evening (Wednesday) from 6pm to 7pm in the Center St. Middle School Gym. Herren, who played two seasons, one with the Boston Celtics and seven seasons overseas will share his recovery journey. He shares how his dream to play in the NBA began after playing college basketball at Boston College and Fresno State began to unravel by making a few bad decisions. Herren takes the audience on his journey from addiction to sobriety. He addresses themes of gateway drugs, prescription drug use, vaping and the responsibility of prevention starting with all of us. Herren will give his presentation at Eldorado High School Cafeteria tonight from 6pm to 7pm. Door prizes include; big screen TV, laptop and gift cards. Admission is FREE.
