Wednesday, Edwards County FFA members and other ECHS students competed in Envirothon at Richland County High School. Envirothon is a competition that tests students’ knowledge of the natural environment. The areas of study included Forestry, Wildlife, Aquatics, Soils, and Renewable Forests. Students were required to take five tests while working as a team. Edwards County had one team that competed and placed 2nd. Team members were Jake Wiseman, Carlin St. Ledger, Abby Gill, Brayden Sanford, and Karmyn Duncan. The team is coached by Mrs. Lacey Arnold and Mrs. Michelle Wiseman.
