Clay County Hospital and Medical Clinics are once again hosting their popular “Reduced Rate Lab Fair” from April 15th through April 30th, providing discounted lab tests to encourage proactive healthcare within the community.
During the two-week event, individuals can pick up a special voucher at the hospital or any of their clinic locations in Flora, Louisville, and Clay City. This voucher unlocks access to a variety of essential blood tests at a reduced cost, making it an ideal opportunity for those who may have been putting off routine checkups due to cost concerns.
One of the most sought-after options is the “Lab Fair Panel,” a comprehensive package that includes tests for kidney and liver function, complete blood count, cholesterol levels, and triglycerides. These tests offer crucial insights into overall health and can help identify potential issues in their early stages.
To participate, individuals need to pick up their voucher and schedule an appointment for their blood draw between April 15th and 30th. Blood draws are available Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturdays from 7:00 am to 11:00 am at the Clay County Hospital. Payment for the discounted tests is due upon registration.
