A crash that occurred earlier this week in central Illinois, killing four children including one teenager, may have been caused by a medical emergency.
Authorities say the crash happened Thursday in Chatham, Illinois at an after-school camp and was not a targeted incident. Alcohol or drugs is not believed to have been a factor, and police said the driver may have had a medical issue.
The crash resulted in the death of three young children and a teenager. Six other children were injured.
