Feeding Kids of Wayne County celebrated the success of the second annual Rib Cook-Off held this past Saturday on the parking lot of All Star Package in Cisne which raised nearly $3,000 in donations. Despite challenging rainy conditions, numerous teams participated. Special thanks were extended to sponsors and volunteers, including All Star Package, Brandon Irwin, Tyler Lampley, and Save A Lot, whose efforts made the event possible.
The funds raised will help kick start the organization’s summer program, ensuring that children in Wayne County receive nutritious meals during the school break.
