AREA SCHOOLS PREPARE FOR GRADUATION CEREMONIES THIS WEEKEND

Local schools are gearing up to celebrate their students’ achievements with graduation ceremonies scheduled throughout the weekend.

Tonight, two schools will hold 8th grade graduations:

New Hope Grade School at 6 p.m.

Cisne Middle School at 6 p.m. in the Middle School Gym

Cisne High School will hold its graduation on Saturday at 2 p.m., with Rick Hays, pastor at Orchardville Church, serving as this year’s keynote speaker.

In Wayne City, the High School graduation is scheduled for Sunday at 2 p.m., followed by the Grade School ceremony at 3:30 p.m.

The Edwards County Unit School District will also hold its graduation ceremonies on Saturday, while the Grayville School District will host two events:

Junior High graduation at 11:30 a.m.

High School graduation at 1 p.m.

 

Center Street, Jasper, and Geff Grade Schools have already held their 8th grade graduation ceremonies.
