Several individuals appeared in Wayne County Circuit Court Thursday. Flora resident, 64-year-old Kevin Dunnigan pled guilty to a charge of Disorderly Conduct. Dunnigan was placed on 1 year of Court Supervision and ordered to pay court costs. Dunnigan was given credit for 2 days of times served in the Wayne County Jail.
50-year-old Jene’ Garrett of Fairfield pled guilty to a charge of Cruel Treatment of Animals and was placed on 1 year of Court Supervision plus ordered to pay court costs.
22-year-old Jaxon Willis of Fairfield also pled guilty to a charge of Cruel Treatment of Animals and was sentenced to 1 year of Conditional Discharge plus court costs.
Amanda Moore, 37 of Fairfield pled guilty to a charge of Theft. Moore was placed on 24 months of Probation plus court costs. Moore was given 16 days credit of time served in the Wayne County Jail.
21-year-old Lexia Scott of Fairfield pled guilty to Disorderly Conduct and was sentenced to 1 year of Conditional Discharge plus court costs. Scott was given 1 day of credit for time served in the Wayne County Jail.
Ely Taylor, 42 of Fairfield admitted in court Thursday to violating a previous ordered of Probation on an original charge of Domestic Battery. Taylor was re-sentenced to 1 year of Probation and if within the 1-year sentence Taylor is arrested on another offense, he will automatically spend 60 days in the Wayne County Jail. Taylor was also ordered by the court to pay court fees and costs.
