The City of Fairfield has announced that trash collection will be delayed by one day during the week of May 26th due to the Memorial Day holiday.
There will be no trash service on Monday, May 26th. Regular routes will resume on Tuesday, May 27th, with each subsequent day’s collection pushed back by one day. Friday’s route will be completed on Saturday, May 31st.
Additionally, bulk pickup for the 4th Ward will also be delayed by one day. Residents in the 4th Ward can expect their bulk items to be collected on Thursday, May 29th.
