Indianapolis 500 Recap
Two-time defending IndyCar champion Alex Palou won his first career Indianapolis 500, becoming the first Spaniard to drink the celebratory milk. Palou passed runner-up Marcus Ericsson on the 187th lap and never trailed again in the race. David Malukas, Pato O’Ward and Felix Rosenqvist rounded out the top five. Palou has won four of the first five races of the season, becoming the first driver to do so since AJ Foyt won seven in a row to begin the 1964 season.
