On 5/31/2025 at approximately 10:30 pm, Wayne County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. During the stop a passenger Leatha M. West (57) of Carmi, IL. was found to have an active Wayne County Warrant.
The warrant was a Petition to Revoke Probation for the original charge of Possession of Methamphetamine. West was taken into custody and transported to the Wayne County Jail and is awaiting a detention hearing.
