After decades of serving the community with floral arrangements and gifts, Black’s Fashion Flowers has announced on social media that it will be closing its doors at 310 E. Main Street in Fairfield, effective today (Monday, June 16th).
Owners Mark and Tina Turner made the difficult decision to sell the business due to ongoing health concerns.
“We want to thank everyone, both friends and customers—and customers that became friends—for their support over the years,” the Turners said in a statement. “This has been one of the toughest decisions we have ever had to make.”
The legacy of Black’s will live on. Blessed Blooms will assume daily operations, continuing the tradition of providing fresh floral arrangements, Fannie May candy, gifts, balloons, and tuxedo rentals.
“We’re honored to share that Blessed Blooms is taking over Black’s Fashion Flowers, continuing nearly 70 years of heartfelt service to our community,” the new owners said. “We know how much Black’s has meant to so many—creating beautiful arrangements for funerals, weddings, and special occasions with care and creativity.”
Blessed Blooms expressed their respect for the legacy left behind and their commitment to maintaining the same level of service Fairfield residents have long appreciated.
The new owners say they look forward to serving area families with the same personal touch, compassion, and quality that have been the hallmark of Black’s for generations.
