Fairfield Memorial Hospital is proud to announce it has earned the Gold Seal of Accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR) for its 3-D Digital Mammography services—a distinguished honor that represents the highest standards in imaging quality and patient safety.
This elite accreditation is only awarded to facilities that pass a rigorous peer-review evaluation process conducted by board-certified physicians and medical physicists. It confirms that Fairfield Memorial Hospital meets or exceeds nationally recognized standards for image quality, equipment, staff qualifications, and quality control measures.
“We are honored to receive this recognition from the ACR,” said Mendie Johnson, MBA, BS, RDMS, RDCS, RVT, RT(R), Director of Diagnostic Imaging at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. “It validates the hard work and dedication of our radiology team in providing safe, accurate, and compassionate breast imaging services for our patients.”
Fairfield Memorial’s 3-D Digital Mammography technology is especially effective in improving the early detection of breast cancer, including in patients with dense breast tissue. The accreditation further solidifies FMH’s ongoing commitment to providing cutting-edge diagnostics and exceptional patient care.
