The St. Louis Cardinals shuffled around their roster over the weekend. The Cardinals place catcher Ivan Herrera on the ten-day injured list on Friday. Herrera is dealing with a left hamstring strain. Infielder Thomas Saggese was called up to take Herrera’s spot on the roster. Yesterday, St. Louis sent reliever Andre Granillo back down to Memphis and replaced him with right-hander Gordon Graceffo.

LSU Wins College World Series:
(Omaha, NE) — LSU is once again on top of the college baseball world. The Tigers defeated Coastal Carolina 5-3 in the second game of the College World Series championship series Sunday in Omaha to take home their eighth N-C-Double-A baseball title. This is LSU’s second time winning the College World Series in the last three years. The school’s eight titles are second only to Southern California’s 12. The Tigers ended their championship season with a record of 53-and-15.
WNBA:
The Indiana Fever have dropped back to back games after falling to the Aces 89-81 in Las Vegas. Aliyah Boston led all scorers with 26 points. Indiana hopes to bounce back when it visits the Seattle Storm tomorrow night.

NASCAR:
Great American Getaway 400 (at Long Pond, PA)
Chase Briscoe is celebrating a NASCAR Cup Series victory at Pocono Raceway. The driver of the Number-19 car held off Denny Hamlin to win the Great American Getaway 400. Ryan Blaney, Chris Buescher and Chase Elliott rounded out the top-five in a race that saw 11 lead changes. The field heads to EchoPark Speedway next Saturday for the Quaker State 400, which kicks off the inaugural In-Season Challenge.
