Wayne County Sheriff Deputies arrested 49-year old Phillip L. Bowles of Mt. Vernon Tuesday morning. Deputies conducted a traffic stop around 1:30 on IL Hwy 15 near Sims and during the stop, it was determined that the driver, Bowles had an active arrest warrant out of Williamson County and was also driving with a suspended Illinois driver’s license.
Bowles was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Wayne County Jail.
