Fairfield Police made two arrests over the weekend in unrelated cases involving outstanding warrants.
On Sunday at approximately 12:42 p.m., officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of NW 7th Street. During the investigation, officers arrested 54-year-old Terry R. Lee of Albion on a Clay County failure to appear warrant. Lee was transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he is being held pending extradition to Clay County.
Earlier, on Friday at approximately 3:50 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of SW 4th Street and located 19-year-old Clark J. Ewing of Fairfield. Ewing, who was known to have an outstanding Wayne County warrant for three counts of aggravated domestic battery, was taken into custody. He was transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he awaits a court appearance.
